  • Day 1 \u2014 Ascent to the Otto Meiling Hut<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • We\u2019ll meet in Pampa Linda in the morning and begin our approach towards the Otto Meiling Hut, located between the Casta\u00f1o Overa and Alerce glaciers. Depending on snow conditions, it may take up to 2\u20132.5 hours before we can put on our skis.
      The approach leads through beautiful lenga forest and into the alpine terrain below the glaciers.<\/li>\n
    • For those who prefer a lighter approach, there\u2019s the option of hiring a pack horse service (\u201cpilchero\u201d) to transport equipment as close to the hut as possible \u2014 a highly recommended option to save energy for the climb.<\/li>\n
    • Evening briefing and rest at the hut.
      Overnight at the Otto Meiling Hut (half board not included \u2014 must be paid directly at the hut, including meals for the guide).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Day 2 \u2014 Summit Day<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Early alpine start for the ascent to the Pico Argentino, crossing glacial terrain with crampons or ski crampons, depending on conditions.<\/li>\n
      • After reaching the summit and enjoying incredible panoramic views of the Andes and Chilean volcanoes, we descend back to the hut and then continue to Pampa Linda.

                              This journey through Chile\u2019s Araucan\u00eda and northern Patagonia showcases snow-covered volcanoes, vast wild landscapes, and some of the purest skies on Earth. Days are spent skiing classic terrain and touring by 4×4 between six sectors and up to ten volcanoes, while evenings bring relaxation in natural hot springs, warm hospitality, and fine Chilean food and wine. The trip alternates between hotels and cozy cabanas with close supervision of one guide per four participants.
