The Vall\u00e9e Blanche is a must-do classic for experienced skiers, starting from the Aiguille du Midi at 3,842 meters. After descending the famous ridge, the 20 km ski run crosses glaciers, weaving between crevasses and seracs with incredible views of the Mont Blanc Massif. Lunch is enjoyed at the Requin mountain hut. Depending on snow conditions, the descent continues to the Montenvers train station or all the way to Chamonix. This adventure promises unforgettable memories and spectacular photos.<\/p>\n

              We begin skiing the Haute Route in the French Alps, in Chamonix, with a day skiing the famous Vall\u00e9e Blanche off the Aiguille du Midi back to town to acclimatize. This first day is also meant to review key skills such as kick turns, skinning with ski crampons, and crevasse rescue.<\/p>\n

              The next day we head onto the Haute Route itself, crossing into Switzerland and spending the next six days ski traversing the Swiss Alps through the Valais region. We ski the Verbier variation via the Trient, Mont Fort, Dix, Vignettes and Bertol huts. Every morning we start early. We end beneath the majestic North Face of the Matterhorn, skiing into Zermatt.<\/p>\n

                          On the West coast of Norway, 69 Degrees north, lies the beautiful island of Senja. A ski touring heaven in the Arctic Circle. Senja is situated Southwest of the Arctic capital Troms\u00f8. Norwegians often describe Senja as \u201cNorway in miniature\u201d as it has all the elements of this diverse country. While ski touring we enjoy the magnificent and breathtaking scenery. We summit peaks and ski all the way back through the quintessential birch trees to sea level.                           We will pick you up from Troms\u00f8 and transfer you to Senja.<\/p>\n

                          This week of ski touring is designed for comfort. We spend the whole week in the village of Mefjorvaer, in the north of the island, in a cosy lodge with dinners at the local restaurant.<\/p>\n

                          The lodge will be our base. Every day we take trips out by minibus to enjoy the best routes. Senja has a good road network, giving access to the most remote spots within an hour.<\/p>\n

                          March and early April are ideal: plenty of daylight and low enough temperatures for potential powder.

                                    Come ski the Lake District in Bariloche in Argentina\u2019s Northern Patagonia. The mountains are uncrowded and offer varied terrain and gorgeous traverses and lines to be skied amongst stunning open bowls, steep shoots and golden colored couloirs. We will take you on a horse assisted and human powered skitour that will offer you literally a great taste of this region. The Asado at the ranch, the Argentinian wine and the microbreweries are part of the itinerary.
